Sagitta is delighted to announce our new Charity of the Year partnership with Sense. Sense is the leading national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. They provide expert advice and information as well as specialist services to deafblind people, their families, carers and the professionals who work with them. In addition, they support people who have sensory impairments with additional disabilities.
Sagitta's employees are committed to raising £10,000 for Sense through a variety of fundraising activities throughout 2011, including treks, marathons and pub quizzes, £10,000 will pay for 15 children to enjoy a Sense holiday, where they will experience many new activities and meet other deafblind children. These holidays provide much needed respite for their families. Sagitta's employees will also be volunteering to support the holiday activities.
